Timika has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, a Master of Arts in Education , and is currently pursing a Master of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Data Analytics. She is a licensed Mathematics Teacher (state of Wisconsin grades 4 - 12), certified Mentor, Life Coach, Keynote Speaker, John Maxwell Leader, and DISC (Dominant, Influencing, Steady, and Compliant) Behaviors and Communication Analyst.

With two decades of experience in Education, Timika’s desire to establish I RISE derived from her continuous experiences of receiving data from local/district leaders and being charged with the task to “show growth” through the implementation of traditional practices that incorporated minimal to no use of data-driven decision- making skills. Through the implementation of those traditional ideologies and practices; data often resulted in stagnant to minimal growth and the next school year she was asked to do “the same ole thing”.

In 2023 Timika became innovative and designed data-driven decision-making frameworks to cultivate growth and enhance professional development within her school community. Her frameworks focused on meeting contractual outcomes and local/district/stakeholders performance expectations. As a result of properly implementing I RISE models, the school consistently displayed significant growth in credits earned (compared to previous years - especially in Math and Reading), improved Graduation Rate (through the implementation of their Graduation Improvement Rate Plan (GRIP)), and exceeded projected Reading Lexile growth across all grade levels (9 - 12 through proper implementation of Tier 1 instruction and an online intervention), teachers implemented data-driven decision-making frameworks to drive instruction, and administrators applied the frameworks to progress monitor student and teacher performance, asses SMART goals, and action plans to ensure growth in desired areas.
